This is a 10* IL TOTAL BLOOD-BATH on the OVER Tigers/D-Backs. Both teams have been involved in several lower-scoring games of late, but I'm expecting some offensive fireworks finally in the opener of this three-game IL series in the desert. Detroit is coming off back-to-back shutout losses in Miami, and interestingly the Tigers have seen the total eclipse the posted number in eight of their last 12 after two or more straight shutout losses in a row. Arizona took two of three from Cincinnati earlier this week here, but the final two also went UNDER the number. Tarik Skubal (5-0, 2.02 ERA, 0.86 WHIP) has been a bright spot for Detroit, but his shiny numbers remain unrealistic and unsustainable for the long-term (or even the short-term in my opinion.) Regression is imminent here. And Ryne Nelson (2-2, 5.33 ERA, 1.70 WHIP) has struggled with consistency from game-to-game all year for the D-Backs. This is a 10* SIDE WINNER on the Stars. Colorado won Game 1 by a score of 4-3 in OT in Colorado, then the Stars won the following three games. The Avs staved off elimination in Game 5 though with a 5-3 win as an underdog, but now I think Dallas will bounce back here and end this series in six games. Note that Dallas has responded well in this spot for bettors, going 7-3 in its last ten in trying to avenge home loss as a fav vs. an opponent. Look for this strong trend to continue here. And with nearly 70% of the early public money on the home side, this one also really speaks to my contrarian side as well. Great overall value here on the better and hungrier team in my opinion. This is a 10* BK on the Knicks. Outright win?! I think its possible. So far home floor has been crucial in this series, and while Indiana may go on to win this game outright, I believe it'll be decided in the final moments. The last two games have been blowouts for each side, but I'm anticipating a much tighter game here now in Indiana finally. This series have been completely unpredictable, but I say that NY has now figured out this Indiana team and we'll see further adjustments now here on the road. I think the outright is very possible as well. Yes, the NBA would love a Game 7, and while that my occur, everything does indeed point to this one "coming down to the wire" in my opinion.
